Prickly Pear Jelly or Syrup

Description

A true desert treat- this naturally bright magenta jam and syrup are made from the juice of prickly pear fruit harvested in my yard.

The syrup is great for making bright pink lemonade or margaritas. It also makes a great bbq sauce addition! The jelly is great on toast and the sweetness pairs well with the tang of goat cheese on crackers.

Both the syrup and jelly are canned in 8oz jars and will last for months unopened in the pantry. Once opened, keep refrigerated.

Contains: Prickly pear fruit, Sugar, Lemon Juice. The jelly also contains fruit pectin.
